2010 SFIAAFF Wraps Up

The 2010 San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival has wrapped up. Two of the screenings of AOKI were sold out and the third was well attended. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the film! It was great to see so many people take interest in Richard’s life. The filmmakers would also like to thank Chi-Hui Yang, Christine Kwon, Lanlian Szeto, Mariana Lopez, Natalie Mulford, Leo Wong, and everyone else from CAAM for all their hard work in making this year’s SFIAAFF a success.
Next up for AOKI are screenings at Amherst College, University of Michigan, and Chicago. See our Screenings section for more information.

AOKI co-director & co-producer Mike Cheng will be a live guest on Friday 3/12 for the podcast Wanda’s Picks Radio. Listeners can tune in to the live broadcast either by visiting her site on Blog Talk Radio or calling 347-237-4610. Wanda’s Picks Radio will air from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. AOKI coming to Chicago and Los Angeles

AOKI has been accepted into the 15th annual Chicago Asian American Showcase at The Gene Siskel Film Center where it will be screened on April 8th, as well as the 26th annual Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival presented by Visual Communications. We will be sure to sure the exact screening times and all other relevant information as it becomes available. We look forward to seeing our Chicago and LA supporters soon!
There will be three upcoming screenings of AOKI during the 2010 San Francisco Asian American Film Festival. The film will be screened on 3/13 and 3/17 in San Francisco and 3/20 in San Jose. For more information on theaters, show times, and how to purchase advance tickets please visit this site.
